Principal's Message

Welcome to Boulder Hill Elementary School!

I am grateful for the opportunity to lead the Bobcats as principal this year. After getting to know our school community as both assistant principal and interim principal, I find myself amazed by Boulder Hill’s special connections. We are truly the hub of the Boulder Hill community! We have several staff members who attended school here, as well as a number of second and third-generation students enrolled here.

Our school has a rich history, both within SD 308 and beyond. Boulder Hill first opened its doors in 1961, making it the district’s oldest building still being used for its original purpose. This school’s construction came at a time of pivotal development in the Oswego/Montgomery area, serving as a timestamp for the community.

My own time with SD 308 began in 2009, when I was a teacher assistant for the Kendall County Special Education Cooperative. From there, I started teaching in 2012. Through the years, I have served as a special education teacher at East View Academy, Program Administrator at Oswego High School, assistant principal at Hunt Club Elementary School, and Extended School Year Services site coordinator at Southbury Elementary School.

At Boulder Hill, we work hard to empower our students, to celebrate their achievements and help them to find their individual pathways to success. Ultimately, we hope that all of our students become successful and productive adults. Our staff understands the importance of these formative years in each student’s life, striving to ensure students feel both seen and supported.
